YO! 0

Ashmodeus.com is not dead man!! It’s just sleeping!!

Actually the reason for the slow updates and everything is because I finally got Visual Studio 2003 on my box at work and so am currently using my limited lunchtime to check out C#. I have started writing an extensible serverless peer 2 peer client which is coming along well, mainly because the .net framework is tha shizzay man!!

Also we are moving this week and as of tonight I won’t have access to a computer so no updates from home ’till I actually buy one!!… Bollackies.

Good news tho is that I have made some progress on the new version of the site so maybe that will come together soon. Don’t worry, you will know when it is finished cos I am going to start a massive advertising blitz to get back all the ‘clients’ I lost durinng this extended period of farking around. :)

Keep visiting!! It’s really great here!! No really!!

Will you please shut up and get a life, already? / Critics targeting anti-boy T-shirts must have something better to do than take political correctness to 0

I bought rox a pair of “I love moo” pajamas from David And Goliath for Christmas. Apparently people (Americans of course) are complaining that some of their other shirts that say things like “Boys are smelly” are demeaning to boys… wtf?? At this rate in a 100 years you wont even be able to say hello to an some people without being sued for mental anguish…. lame.

Not only is Salazar a mexican drug baron and international terrorist (in the series 3 of 24) but he is also a record holding amazonian surfer!! Crazy no?

Spring has sprung nearly… 0

Well good news abounds like a newly born spring deer on military amphetamines, speaking of which the revamp of this website is going really well… Yes I know you thought I had given up after missing my deadline but the truth is far from er, that thing I said.

The front page of the new improved and more news oriented site is about 50% complete now and… ah who cares, my estimating capability is non existent. It will be done when it is done (est 1-2 weeks max :).

I think i’m just gonna get a second hand one from the Loot. There are some really cool ones in there…

New Old Computer 0

Anyone know of a good place where I can buy a second hand computer for less than £300? I don’t care about the specs too much but I preferably want an Athlon 2400+ or something similar. Its for our new house and only needs to last me a year or so so it doesn’t really matter.

Including monitor as well…

I am looking on the Loot website at the moment and there seems to be some good bargains but let me know if you can think of any other place for cheap pooters…

Peter Kay’s Universal Truths… 0

For those of you who don’t know, Peter Kay is a stand up comedian that is fairly funny and fat. The two are not necessarily related at all but I would like to see some proper statistics on the subject.

Anyway, here are some of his ‘Universal Truths’… Most of which are actually! :)

1) Triangular sandwiches taste better than square ones.
2) At the end of every party there is always a girl crying.
3) One of the most awkward things that can happen in a pub is when your pint-to-toilet cycle gets synchronised with a complete stranger.
4) You’ve never quite sure whether it’s ok to eat green crisps.
5) Everyone who grew up in the 80’s has entered the digits 55378008 into a calculator.
6) Reading when you’re drunk is horrible.
7) Sharpening a pencil with a knife makes you feel really manly.
8) You’re never quite sure whether it’s against the law or not to have a fire in your back garden.
10) Nobody ever dares make cup-a-soup in a bowl.
11) You never know where to look when eating a banana.
12) Its impossible to describe the smell of a wet cat.
13) Prodding a fire with a stick makes you feel manly.
14) Rummaging in an overgrown garden will always turn up a bouncy ball.
15) You always feel a bit scared when stroking horses.
16) Everyone always remembers the day a dog ran into your school.
17) The most embarrassing thing you can do as schoolchild is to call your teacher mum or dad.
18) The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
19) Some days you see lots of people on crutches.
20) Every bloke has at some stage while taking a pee, flushed half way through and then raced against the flush.
21) Old women with mobile phones look wrong.
22) Its impossible to look cool whilst picking up a Frisbee.
23) Driving through a tunnel makes you feel excited.
24) You never ever run out of salt.
25) Old ladies can eat more than you think.
26) You can’t respect a man who carries a dog.
27) There’s no panic like the panic you momentarily feel when you’ve got your hand or head stuck in something.
28) No one knows the origins of their metal coat hangers.
29) Despite constant warning, you have never met anybody who has had their arm broken by a swan.
30) The most painful household incident is wearing socks and stepping on an upturned plug.
31) People who don’t drive slam car doors too hard
32) You’ve turned into your dad the day you put aside a thin piece of wood specifically to stir paint with.
33) Everyone had an uncle who tried to steal their nose.
34) Bricks are horrible to carry.
35) In every plate of chips there is a bad chip.
36) Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit; Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad

Minidisc Australia :: Aiwa AM-NX1 NetMD Silver 0

Cool.. just found out that Aiwa has been bought by Sony.. or is that just ‘brought’ under Sony’s management… ?

Either way Sony is involved.. Which can only be a good thing at their stuff is always funky.

Aiwa has just been rebranded and its new ad campaigns are excellent so its funny to see that it is because they have been influenced by my other favourite tech company, Sony. Yes I am a Sony stalker (stalker rather than whore cos I don’t have enough of their products yet)… Canon are also good. In fact anything shiny with little glowing buttons is good in my opinion… Um, yeah.

What I am buying next (but its the cooler coloured version):
