England is out of the Euro 2004 Championships!!
They lost to Portugal in the penalty shootout after a possibly the most stressful game I have seen in all my days of watching football! England were supposed to win! The ball went into the goal but was disallowed by the damn mofo of a ref! We (ok i’m half english) have been cheated!!!!!!!

I didn’t get to post this yesterday but SpaceShip One took off and landed safely. If it can do it again twice in two weeks while carrying 3 passengers then it will win the Ansari X-Prize!
Also, England won the match against Croatia yesterday and is through to the quarter finals!! I went for Croatia all day just to piss everyone off but I was really hoping England would win. No one likes an Englishman after his team has lost at football

Cool! The worlds first private manned space flight is going to be attempted today!
If SpaceShipOne is successful then I will finally have a cost effective way to get my robot minions into orbit it could herald a new era of space flight as we will no longer have to reply on underfunded organisations like NASA to get to our floating space hotels and Martian holiday resorts.
Lets hope it all goes to plan!

Today I got the link list to show on both the main page and the archive pages. Which is nice but the now the archive pages sometimes don’t show properly in Firefox so i’ll have to fix that later…
I just can’t be bothered working this shit out right now, after a bit of a stressful two weeks I think i need about 500 beers to make me feel better. Luckily I have 450 in the fridge and we are going out to a cool club tonight so I’ll get the rest there. I’m also going to the British Museum with Rox tomorrow which should be a nice day out…. Blergh….

Sorry for the lack of updates recently!
I’m this close to finishing the new site design so I have been concentrating on that instead of posting. Also I have had a quite hectic week at work with a fairly major client release being due the friday just gone. We got the bad boy done in time but it was touch and go for a while there!
I can’t wait until I have finished this site. The current design is really pissing me off now and its hard to see what the fuck is going on cos the sections are not segregated properly. The new one going to be much much cleaner and have funky new (yet sometimes old as well) features. For instance it will include both Category and Date based archives, a Reviews section, a Flash based Shutterbug, an integrated Gallery (eventually) and …. a Shoutbox!! (Although everyone uses it to tell me i’m gay or something it’s still a good dynamic tool for getting everyone talking)
Ok so maybe I should just show you instead of talking about it so much. I have set a deadline of wednesday for the basic site launch with extra features being added when I find the time. Expect it to actually appear sometime next month hehe.
Repeat after me: Not having a computer now is just going to make it 10 times as good when I finally get one…

Cool I finally managed to track down one of my ‘lost’ tracks from the age before time when I had access to a computer.
It’s called ‘Control‘ (I have a feeling it will be renamed eventually) and is of the genre ‘Drum and Le Bass’ which is just like DnB ‘cept it has a ‘Le’ in it. It’s not actually finished yet but there’s enough of it to get a general idea…. Hopefully sometime soon (like 6 months) I will finally be able to finish it!

Work on the new site is coming along slowly but well. Unfortunately we have a shiteload of work on at the moment so I am having to cut my lunchbreaks short to finish it on time!

Hehe, I feel a lot better today. In fact I started to feel better as soon as I left the internet cafe which clearly demonstrates the healing power of venting from time to time…
The reasons I feel better are actually three-fold.
The first reason is because on sunday I turned on the television to see the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings… There is nothing like seeing old shaky war veterans, who basically fought to save the entire world from evil, standing by the graves of their best friends to make you realise that you are a spoilt whinger! If this was 60 years ago, I wouldn’t be sitting on my arse (hehe english spelling) in a inet cafe talking about bollocks. I would be trying to get out of a landing craft in choppy seas while ‘ze germanz’ did their best to make my head resemble a colander and all my friends exploded around me. Puts it into more perspective than an Escher painting on acid. Woah trippy….

Man I gotta get a computer before I go crazy!!
Unfortunately due to financial constraints that doesn’t look like becoming a possibility until I get back to Melbourne so I am having to use all of my various zen powers to not go mental every time I become bored. Which, when youhave the aforementions financial constraints can be frequently.
I mean really, in the scheme of things, not having a computer isn’t the end of the world. It’s not like I don’t have my legs or my eyesight. It’s not like my family have all been killed by rebel guerillas(sp?) with machetes and it’s not like I can’t afford food and have to live on the streets and sell my body for cigarettes and beer (Ed: wtf?) … Of course it’s not on the scale of any of those things and even mentioning them has reminded me that it’s not really a problem and I should really stop being such a wingeing biatch about it and go to a museum or something… It’s just that….

I finally got around to mapping our music directory today so that I could import it into Winamp’s Media Library… Now I have 17 days worth of music and over 50% of that is unlistened to d’n'b. Cool!!
Work on the new site is progressing well, I just wish I had more time to work on it, arghhh, so frustrating!!
