It’s with Teragen, a groovy company that deal with stuff that I can’t tell you about on pain of death (stealth helicopters are circling as we speak… wait, what was that noise??).

They have a foosball table man, a foosball table!!! And NERF guns! It’s just like Id Software all over again! AAIEEE!!

I am finally in Melbourne!

It’s really cool to be here finally, it’s a groovy city and I think living here is gonna be really cool. It’s also cool seeing Rox again. We had only been apart for a month or so but I was missing her! * sounds of people vomiting can be heard in the background *

Now all we need to do is find flats and get some damn jobs. Goddammit.

We have been staying at Debbie and Reids for the last week which has been really great but we dont want to outlive our stay so we are powering hard to find a cool flat. Unfortunately it seems that our dreams of living in Port Melbourne may never be realised as all the flats we have looked at there have cost an arm, leg, spleen and a foot and have been the size of a large cupboard. Also I’m not sure if I could live in a building that looked like a rejected piece for the Saatchi Gallery. They are funky actually, but you need to spend much more than we can to get an actual nice place.

I have been applying for jobs like crazy as well. I haven’t gotten any calls yet but i’m sure its just a matter of time until something turns up. I even bought myself a $100 dollar C++ book today to brush up on my m4d sk1llz. Oh well, you have to spend money to make money!

I cant wait until I have a job and a place… Then eventually I can turn to the much more interesting tasks of finding the best Kung Fu schools and DnB clubs! There is just so much more going on here than in Perth, its cool and hopefully it will be enough to stave off any Post-London Depression (PLD) I may get.

Well I am on the net at Sebs new place (Net access courtesy of some sucker who hasn’t secured his wifi connection yet!), just about to have dinner before going to the Brass Monkey for my leaving drinks. Holy shit man!! The adventure is nearly over (Or just begun depending on how you look at it).

I just want to say hi and bye to all of the guys I met up with while I was here and sorry to those that I didnt get a chance to meet up with. I’ll see you all sometime next year!! Come to melbourne! I’ll take you to an actual “good” pub!
