I have been meaning to post an update for ages but everything has been so mental I have had to keep putting it off. Where to start, where to start…?

Well, first off I went and visited my bro and mum in Perth last week. Mum was over from Indonesia for a couple of weeks so we managed to catch up again and have all three of us in the same room for the first time in four years which was really great. My brother Starehe was moving house so we helped him get that sorted which was a nice family thing to do. I was just happy to be hanging out with them again after so long apart.

After getting back on the Tuesday Rox and I then went to Derby day at Flemington at the weekend and I bet on a horse or two. Luckily it was really warm and I was drinking champagne so I couldnt get up and make too many bad bets. Our seats were right in front of the windows so it was great fun to just sit there and watch all the increasingly drunk people without seating walk around and try to pick each other up. The girls especially enjoyed ripping the shit out of the fashion of the girls stumbling by. But thats girls for ya isnt it?

And now we have just gotten back from a really nice Melbourne Cup BBQ at our friends place down at Brighton (we have one here as well… The state is called Victoria remember). Having lived in WA for most of my life I didnt realise until the other day that Melbourne Cup day (The horse race for those who dont know) is actually a public holiday in Victoria! Rockin’!

So overall its been a real action packed couple of weeks!

Oh yeah, also I bought Quake 4 which is pretty cool but i’ll try to write a full review some other time.
