Whoah it’s all happenin’ here!

The opening Ceremony for the Commonwealth Games is kicking off at 7:30 tonight and on our run this morning Rox and I managed to catch a glimpse of the Queen crusing into town on her Union Jack emblazioned Harley. Prince Philip looked a bit uncomfortable on the back but he’s used to that.

I might wander down to the river after work today and take some pics of the celebrations. I didn’t even think of going to the opening ceremony which, now that I think about it, was pretty stupid as it is in my (adopted) home city!!

Everyone is bitching about the massive crowds and traffic jams that will no doubt appear when everything is underway but now that I live only 10mins walk from work i’m laughing.
