Hmm long time no write! I’ve been busy building a scale model of the large hadron collider among other things.

Currently u am finishing of the migration script for the launch of ausrobotics.com v2.

Oh yeah and working waaay too much!

Ok, so Rox and I are having a weekend away at a beautiful cottage in the yarra valley. No computers allowed, no tv. Just us, some books and a nice bottle of red.

Oh yeah and our phones of course. Problem is my phone is a computer.

Which does come in handy when you suddenly remember that the season final of Dr Who is on and the dr gets shot and starts regenerating and you urgently need to check to see if David Tennant us going to still be the Doctor in the next series because he is great.

The issue arises when you fire up your phone/computer to see and a little prompt appears asking if you would like to join the cottage wifi network (which i swear materialised out of no where) and you, thinking that EDGE is gonna be as good as it gets this far from the big smoke, stupidly cancel the prompt…

Thus ensues about 2 hours of decidedly non-relaxing hunting around the cottage, standing on various bits of furniture and trying to build a cantenna using bits of wood and kangaroo droppings while trying to rediscover the spectre of the wifi hotspot.
