If you would like to view the restricted photos you will now need to log in (top right of the gallery page).

Just a couple of updates to the site today:

1) New york photos are available now! More photos will be coming soon because my gallery uploader is finally working again.

2) Added little icons everywhere on the links. Groovy!

3) Reduced the number of posts appearing in the index page to speed loading. The site uses some tables (temporarily) so loading has been a bit slower for the past couple of weeks.

4) Slight colour scheme change… Possibly temporary because I’m not sure if I like it yet.

What the hell am I gonna write about now?

Goddammit, I was hoping that the site would fix itself if I just stared at the HTML long enough but it seems to still be broken…

I know it’s because of some shitty little I.E. issue that is gonna take 5 seconds to fix once I find but I can’t seem to find the problem!!

Aaaaaaiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I need a computer at home so I can take this mofo apart and spend an evening sorting out this left nutsack of a problem (along with all the other little shitty bits on the site that really annoy me. Shutterbug anyone?). Work keeps eating into my lunchtimes… hehe there’s my priorities for ya.

Oh well, I don’t have long to wait really. Only about 5 more months to go until I arrive back in the land of the shrimp barbies and that glowing ball of gas in the sky… oh yeah, the Sun. I forgot what it was called for a second. Summer here so far has been like every other season in the UK. In fact I heard that there was a motion in Parliament to formally abolish summer and then just extend autumn a bit to cover it. Wouldn’t suprise me one bit!

Goddamn rain and mofo websites… It will be fixed by friday!! (failing that next year)

Ok, it’s been a bit quiet and boring and broken around here but over the next few days all that is going to (probably) change!

I got a new work machine last Friday and haven’t had that much time to sort it out so I currently have no web dev environment to speak of yet.

I’m hoping that by the end of lunchtime tomorrow things will be sorted so I can get on with fixing that really annoying problem that you Internet Explorer users are having….

Man it seems to take freakin’ ages to get anything done around here…

Today I got the link list to show on both the main page and the archive pages. Which is nice but the now the archive pages sometimes don’t show properly in Firefox so i’ll have to fix that later…

I just can’t be bothered working this shit out right now, after a bit of a stressful two weeks I think i need about 500 beers to make me feel better. Luckily I have 450 in the fridge and we are going out to a cool club tonight so I’ll get the rest there. I’m also going to the British Museum with Rox tomorrow which should be a nice day out…. Blergh….

Normal operation will resume… er, probably tomorrow unfortunately.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently!

I’m this close to finishing the new site design so I have been concentrating on that instead of posting. Also I have had a quite hectic week at work with a fairly major client release being due the friday just gone. We got the bad boy done in time but it was touch and go for a while there!

I can’t wait until I have finished this site. The current design is really pissing me off now and its hard to see what the fuck is going on cos the sections are not segregated properly. The new one going to be much much cleaner and have funky new (yet sometimes old as well) features. For instance it will include both Category and Date based archives, a Reviews section, a Flash based Shutterbug, an integrated Gallery (eventually) and …. a Shoutbox!! (Although everyone uses it to tell me i’m gay or something it’s still a good dynamic tool for getting everyone talking)

Ok so maybe I should just show you instead of talking about it so much. I have set a deadline of wednesday for the basic site launch with extra features being added when I find the time. Expect it to actually appear sometime next month hehe.

Repeat after me: Not having a computer now is just going to make it 10 times as good when I finally get one…

Work on the new site is coming along slowly but well. Unfortunately we have a shiteload of work on at the moment so I am having to cut my lunchbreaks short to finish it on time!
